On April 17th, New Year’s Day, we will call for a paper airplane strike as a moment of protest against the military junta’ acts of aerial aggression, constituting war crimes.

We shall stand in defiance of the military junta’ atrocities against our people, mobilizing the collective power of both domestic and international communities through the symbolic gesture of paper airplanes.

We will fold various paper airplanes, release them into the air, write prayers on them, or display them prominently.

We will express solidarity with those who have suffered the loss of loved ones and homes due to these airstrikes.

We will denounce the nations and organizations that facilitate the transport and sale of fuel enabling the military junta to continue its aerial assaults.

You can participate freely and express your creativity independently.

You can join the strike either online or offline. To document the event, we encourage participants to take photographs of their own folded paper airplanes as well as others they encounter.
