On November 19, 2024, Mrs. Akie Abe (Chairperson) and Yukiko Koyama (Project Investigator) of “Foundation for Social Contribution”, along with their delegation, visited the New Myanmar Foundation, which is currently conducting humanitarian aid activities along the Thailand-Myanmar border. Dr. San Aung, Executive Director of New Myanmar Foundation, welcomed them and provided a detailed briefing on the foundation’s ongoing public assistance programs and future initiatives. Dr. San Aung also expressed deep gratitude for Japan’s continuous support to Myanmar. Mrs. Akie Abe inquired about the current political situation in Myanmar and expressed her commitment to provide as much assistance as possible regarding matters related to Myanmar. She assured that upon returning to Japan, she would share the updates and affirm to support the people of Myanmar to the best of her ability.

Following the meeting, the delegation visited the Safehouses, the distribution programs, and vocational training centers organized by the New Myanmar Foundation. They also had a warm and friendly interaction with the people of Myanmar, offering their support and solidarity.

၂၀၂၄ ခုနှစ်၊ နို၀င်ဘာလ (၁၉)ရက်နေ့တွင် ထိုင်း-မြန်မာနယ်စပ်တလျှောက် လူသားချင်းစာနာထောက်ထားမှုဆိုင်ရာအကူအညီပေးရေးလုပ်ငန်းစဥ်များအား ဆောင်ရွက်လျက်ရှိသော New Myanmar Foundation သို့ “Foundation for Social Contribution” ၏ သဘာပတိ ဂျပန်၀န်ကြီးချုပ်ဟောင်း ရှင်ဇိုအာဘေး၏ဇနီး အာကီအာဘေးနှင့် Project Investigator ယုကိကို ကိုရာမာတို့ အဖွဲ့မှ  လာရောက်လည်ပတ်တွေ့ဆုံခဲ့ကာ အုပ်ချုပ်ရေးတာ၀န်ခံ ဒေါက်တာဆန်းအောင်မှ လက်ခံတွေ့ဆုံခဲ့ပြီး အဖွဲ့အစည်းမှ လက်ရှိဆောင်ရွက်လျက်ရှိသော လူထုအထောက်အကူပြုလုပ်ငန်းများနှင့် ရှေ့ဆက်မည့်လုပ်ငန်းစဥ်များအား ရှင်းလင်းပြောကြားခဲ့ပြီး မြန်မာနိုင်ငံနှင့် ပတ်သက်၍ ဂျပန်နိုင်ငံ၏ အဆက်မပြတ်ကူညီမှုများအား ကျေးဇူးတင်၀မ်းမြောက်ကြောင်း ပြောကြားခဲ့ပါသည်။ အာကီအာဘေးမှ လက်ရှိမြန်မာနိုင်ငံရေးနှင် အခြေအနေများအားမေးမြန်းခဲ့ပြီး မြန်မာနိုင်ငံနှင့် ပတ်သက်၍ ကူညီနိုင်သည်များကို အစွမ်းကုန်ကူညီပေးမည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း၊ မိမိနိုင်ငံသို့ပြန်ရောက်ပါကလည်း သတင်းစကားပြန်လည်မျှ‌‌ဝေပေးသွားမည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း၊ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသားများအား ကူညီရန် အတတ်နိုင်ဆုံးကြိုးစားမည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း တို့ကို ပြောကြားခဲ့ပါသည်။ ထို့နောက် New Myanmar foundation မှ စီစဥ်ဆောင်ရွက်ပေးလျက်ရှိသော Safehouse များ၊ ရိက္ခာဖြန့်‌‌ဝေခြင်းအစီအစဥ်နှင့် စက်ချုပ်သင်တန်းများသို့လည်း သွားရောက်ကြည့်ရှူကာ မြန်မာပြည်သူများအား ချစ်ခင်ရင်းနှီးစွာတွေ့ဆုံနှုတ်ဆက်ခဲ့ကြပါသည်။
